Affordable Basement Pros was started in 1998, the same year our owner’s oldest daughter was born. He left a position at a local home builder and set out to create a basement finishing company that had great crews who did quality work at a fair price.

Doug has been in construction management for 33 years, 26 of which is as the owner of Affordable Basement Pros. His knowledge and expertise will significantly assist your basement finishing project.

Doug works in close collaboration with his subcontractors and employees. This team is dedicated not only to finishing a basement that you’ll love but also to involving you in the process and doing it cost-effectively.

Doug has a degree in Construction Management from BYU and has owned Apex for 26 years. He’ll put those years of experience to work for you and your basement finish, helping you get the basement finish you want at a fair price.
